Azerbaijan E-Visa Facility For Pakistanis

Azerbaijan Announces Facilitation of Issue of Electronic Visas for Pakistan

The government of Azerbaijan has announced an electronic visa facility for Pakistani citizens. The country’s ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, announced the development on Tuesday.

“I am happy to announce that Azerbaijan is open to brother Pakistan. Now the electronic visa system is available for everyone. Welcome to Azerbaijan!” the ambassador tweeted.

The development comes hours after Pakistan’s special envoy to Azerbaijan. Bilal Hayee, revealed that the two countries are also preparing to launch direct flights in the coming months.

Moreover, we hope that in the next few months we will be able to resume and start direct flights between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. Furthermore, this will be a breakthrough in bringing the two people closer.

Additionally, he noted that there will be direct flights between Baku and major Pakistani cities.

“The trip will only take three hours. We hope that many Azerbaijani friends will be able to travel to Pakistan for tourism, business, and other purposes.” the ambassador said.

Hence, he added that Pakistan and Azerbaijan will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in June this year.
