Pakistan is installing the first-generation 4G (IV high-speed) mobile communication tower at the K2 base camp

Their goal is to make it easier for tourists and climbers to keep in touch with their team when climbing wild mountains. Installing a mobile tower can have a major impact on your expedition on the most dangerous mountain in the world

In the past, climbers used satellite phones to keep in touch with the base camp. But due to the extreme weather conditions at the second highest peak in the world, many people encountered difficulties in communication.

At the same time, the Gilgit-Baltistan government has also stepped up its pace to facilitate tourists with locals.
